Wrinkle Treatment

The first thing to do is to accept that wrinkles are there. The passage of time as well as past mistakes, such as too much sun, too many cigarettes and too much stress, have left their marks on you. Modern cosmetics won't make them disappear but will make them less obvious.

Moisturize
Keeping your skin permanently moisturized is the key method of preventing wrinkles. Its no longer a question of buying anything that happens to be on the market. Only choose products specially made for mature skin. In the mornings, apply a day protective cream (with ultraviolet screen) to your face, neck and shoulders. Make sure that the air in the rooms where you live is sufficiently moist: central heating and air conditioning are notorious for drying your skin. If necessary, buy a humidifier but make sure you disinfect it regularly to prevent bacteria.

Regenerate and stimulate
Aging os the skin is probably due to over exposure to sunlight over the years. Night cream aims to repair the damage done during the day. Apply it after having carefully removed your make-up. Rub it in gently with your fingertips, using upwards-circular movements. Do the same for your neck and shoulders but this time the movements should be downwards.

Don't frown
An expressive face is certainly more attractive than a totally expressionless one. However, many of us have facial mannerisms that help to create deep lines on the forehead. Removing them isn't easy. Ask your friends and family to tell you every time you wrinkle up your face and try to treat yourself to a face massage every week at the beauty salon.
