Organic Skin Care
Whatever we put on the skin is get absorbed into the body's circulation system. Toxins inside the body are eliminated through the skin via perspiration and also absorbed through the skin through hair follicles and sebaceous glands, but not through the sweat glands.
In a one square inch of skin it contains approximately 65 hairs, 650 sweat glands, and 100 sebaceous glands. It means one square inch of skin has approximately thousand pores through which it absorbs whatever we put on it.
We should be careful about what we are putting on your face, specially the face because more activity occurs here than anywhere else on the body.
