Deal with Combination Skin

Not everybody is lucky enough to be born with a satiny skin. A large number of people suffer from dry cheeks and an oily T-zone. These are the signs of a combination skin, which requires its own particular care.

Identify a combination skin
Usually a combination skin is rough and sensitive on the cheeks where it stroungly resembles dry skin. But the forehead, nose and chin areas have the tendency to shine and trap dirt common to greasy skin. Quite a tough proposition, then.

Adopt the care essentials
In order to avoid 'overheating' the only areas and irritating the dry ones, you should choose a gentle cleansers which you rinse with water leave a comfortable protective layer on the skin. Apply a day cream with a high hydrating factor on the whole of your face. Blot the excess (on forehead, nose and chin) with a paper tissue.
Also available are creams specially formulated for combination skins which act to the improve the texture in the dry areas whilst eliminating imperfections in the T-zone. Use a matt, non-drying face powder for a peachy skin throughout the day.
