Glow Your Skin

Deep purifying is a great way of giving the skin back its luminosity and can be done from time to time to boost everyday cleansing. It will get rid of all those dead cells and give you a squeaky-clean complexion.

Get rid of impurities
The skin loses its cool over the smallest things. A little fatigue, polluted atmospheres...but there are certain measures you can take to get your skin back to tip-top form and cleanliness. The key is to get rid of the dead cells so that treatment creams can better nourish the new cells. You can use deep-penetrating treatments - natural marine acid or fruit acid peeling, for example; or you can use that ancient and ultra-natural method: the facial sauna.

Have a facial sauna
The sauna is an excellent way to deep-cleanse the skin. The steam gently dilates the pores and lifts out toxins, leaving your skin polished.

  • Fill a bowl with a liter (about two pints) of boiling water. Add three drops of essential oils (bergamot or lemon for oily skin, camomile or neroli for dry skin, lavender or rose for sensitive skin, sandalwood or rosemary for wrinkles).
  • Place the bowl so that you can lean forward to it from a sitting position without discomfort.
  • Put a towel over your head, bend over the bowl and make sure that the towel fully covers your head and the bowl. Remove after 10 minutes.
  • Spray your face with fresh water from an atomizer to retighten the pores.
  • Dry gently without rubbing, then apply a rich hydrating cream.
  • Your skin will now be bright and squeaky-clean.
