Beautiful Body Skin
You do not have to spend a lot of money to get beautiful skin, especially body skin. It can be dull and lifeless, but if you follow these steps and within a week you will notice that beautiful skin is replacing what was there before. The trick is to maintain it.
The more you use these steps, the better your skin will look. These steps are not about how to get nice skin, but how to get beautiful, stunning skin that you will want to show off!
Step 1 - Body Brushing
A soft bristled body brush must be used in long sweeping motions across the skin, towards the heart. If your skin is a bit neglected, you will notice a fine white powder coming from the skin as you brush. These dead skin cells have been making the skin look dull.
Do not be tempted to use a body brush on your face, its way too harsh. Use all over, but be very gentle with the skin around the chest. If you are forceful with your brushing, it can be a pretty good calorie burner too! Brush until the skin is smooth, but stop before the skin gets sore. Preferably, you would body brush every day for beautiful body skin.
Step 2 - Exfoliation
Exfoliation is a compulsion to remove the layers of dead skin cells that have built up on the skin. It needs to be done in the shower or standing in the bath. The skin needs to be very wet before application.
The exfoliator must be applied as you go, not to the entire body, so start with an arm or leg and gently massage in circular motions, always in the direction of the heart. This encourages circulation and gives an overall feeling of energy and wellbeing.
As the exfoliator rubs away the dead skin cells, keep adding water and exfoliate until the area is smoother, but do not make the area sore. Be extra gentle around the chest area, as skin can be thinner there. Particular attention may be required on feet, elbows and knees as these areas can be drier. Exfoliate every alternate day to start with, then just do it a couple of times a week once the skin is smooth.
Step 3 - Cleansing
Cleansing the skin clears it of dirt, excess sweat, unwanted micro-organisms and their metabolic products. Benzoyl Peroxide based cleansers give good results by destroying acnes, the bacteria that causes acne. By making use of its anti-bacterial properties, these cleansers help reduce the number of blackheads and clogged pores.
Step 4 - Toning
Tone the skin. The most important purpose of toning after cleansing is to prepare the skin for precise absorption of skin conditioners. The toning processes soften dead skin cells remaining after cleansing. It also removes residue contaminants and helps to control oil production through the astringent effect.
Toning will help your skin feel tighter, cleaner and fresher. It will help to prevent future breakouts caused by environmental conditions.
Step 5 - Cell rejuvenation
The process of cellular rejuvenation is a solution to achieving better, healthier skin. The rejuvenation occurs when exfoliation is hastened to stimulate the growth of fresh new cells more rapidly than the body's normal cycle. This cell renewal time is reduced from 28 days to between 10 and 15 days.
On the surface of the epidermis, the cell layers are reduced from fourteen layers of impacted cells to seven or eight loosely woven layers, giving skin a rosy tone and healthy glow. Because of this rapid exfoliation, the skin begins to function once again like adolescent skin. Dryness, blemishes, fine lines, blotchy skin, leathery skin texture, roughness, and wrinkles are improved giving the skin a more youthful appearance.
Step 6 - Moisturize
Protect and moisturize the skin. By performing all the previous steps, your skin is especially susceptible to the harmful rays of the sun and environmental pollutants. So be sure to moisturize and shield it. The protection step is essential in completing the cycle of skin rejuvenation reducing further photo damage.
Step 7 - De stress
Breathe in hope and breathe out anxiety. Be nice to yourself and smile. Eat healthy and keep fit. A well balanced diet and six to eight glasses of water a day works wonders on the skin. It is pretty much the inner glow that reflects outside. So have a healthy lifestyle and good habits.
