Take Fumitory Tea Every Day

Fumitory is a plant of African origin which has been used for over a thousand years by the Arab people in the treatment of skin complaints (particularly sores). As a herbal drink or a compress, it works as a purgative and a pick-me-up.

Fumitory is a truly extraordinary herb, containing as it does many effective properties. Its purgative action has been known since ancient times when the Arab women traditionally used it for refining the complexion. Nowadays its most popular use is in the treatment of sores, particularly for those found around the mouth area which tend to appear in winter with the cold weather. Stress and fatigue can also cause these sores which are annoying and demoralizing though not generally itchy.

Enthuse about infusions
Take fumitory internally in the form of a herbal infusion for eight days (maximum). Using the airy parts of the plant (leaves and flowers) mix 1 level teaspoon into a cup of boiling water and leave to stand for 10 minutes before drinking. Take 3 times daily without food. You can also add burdock root and walnut leaves to the infusion which may speed up the healing process. If the skin complaint persists, consult a doctor.
