Skin Care In Pregnancy

Brown marks, the mask of pregnancy, and stretch marks are all parts of the pregnancy and can be remedied< by natural methods. Don't worry, you can boast a round tummy and radiant complexion at the same time.

Pregnancy alters the nature of your skin
When you are pregnant, your body changes dramatically. Hormones released during pregnancy transform the nature of your skin secretion of oil from the sebaceous glands may increase or decrease. Sign of fatigue appears when you look in the mirror. It's time to pamper your skin. Firstly, exfoliate to remove all dead skin and then cleanse and tone to remove excess grease and control shine. If however, you skin feels tight, use a hydrating mask. If brownish or yellowish marks appear on your face, don't panic! Chloasma, otherwise known as the mask of pregnancy, usually disappears after you have given birth. In any case, plant extracts can help reduce the visibility of the marks, in particular parsley, lime blossom, violet and heather. Enjoy them as an infusion, adding a teaspoon of each for every large bowl of boiling water. Allow infusing and drinking three cups a day.

Avoid stretch marks
If you want to wear revealing clothes after giving birth, start the battle against the stretch marks early. These marks can appear on the hips, breasts and things from the forth month of pregnancy and result from the damage to the skin's elasticity. Once this rupture occurs, the fibers don't fully repair. Prevention is the answer as there is no cure.

Try to apply a specific cream to combat stretch marks every day. Some contain gentle, nourishing sweet almond oil, which moisturize the skin deeply. Others are silicon-based and stimulate the fibroblasts. Creams containing trace elements help produce high quality collagen. Spend at least five minutes a day massaging your skin with a cream.
