Yoga is like meditation, so if practiced regularly, one can gain physical, psychological and mental benefits. in yoga, we concentrate on postures and breathing.

Following are the steps of yoga:

Breathing and reducing stress

Pranayam, which is the yoga way of breathing, is very necessary. Breathing is a natural part of life and purifies the blood. Therefore, as we start to concentrate on our breath we connect ourselves to our existence. We come close to ourselves. We all in true sense are spiritual beings. Peace is our real nature. In that way, we come close to our true nature, which is calm & peaceful. In that way, our skin gets relaxed and looks young. Our over all health is improved.

The yogic ways of breathing involves deep breathing and rapid breathing, which helps to release the toxins from the skin by proper regulation of the excretory system so that internal purification provides glowing skin from outside. However, this has to be learnt from yoga teacher or yoga instructor.

The most favorable time to do these breathing exercises is in a well-ventilated area between the hours of 6.30am and 8.30am. doing these yogic breathing exercises everyday will help reduce the stress in the facial muscles.

A common asanas known as Surya Namaskar, which means saluting the sun, improve to regulate the hormones, which has an impact on the skin too. With this, the body changes from inside and purification begin which will have a positive affect on our skin, which in return help to reduce wrinkles and dark circles.

Mudras to purify blood

Mudras are something, which allow certain parts of the body to be influenced. A finger mudra by the name of Varun mudra helps in many skin disorders, and its also quite simple as you just need to join your little finger tip with the tip of your thumb, making sure the rest of your fingers are straight. Make sure that the nails are not pressed, as this will cause dryness of the skin. This can be performed anywhere at any time.
