- Erysipelas:
Erysipelas is an acute streptococcus bacterial skin infection and is resulting in inflammation. Fever, chills and rigors are some of the symptoms of the Erysipelas. This disease is common among all the elderly, infants, and children. The people with diabetes, alcoholism, skin ulceration, fungal infections, etc. are at high risk of Erysielas.
- Erythroderma:
Erythroderma is also known as erythrodermatitis, generalized exfoliative dermatitis, or red man syndrome. Several skin diseases like contact dermatitis, psoriasis, mycosis fungoides and drug reactions produces Erythroderma.
- Friction blister:
Friction blister is caused by irritation from continuous rubbing or pressure. It is normally occur on the feet. It is painful when touched. The best way to prevent the friction blisters is to wear shoes, which is comfortable to you.
- Genital wart:
Genital wart is also called as condyloma or condylomata acuminata. It is highly contagious sexually transmitted disease. The human papilloma virus (HPV) is responsible for genital warts. It can cause warts on the vulva, penis, urethra, cervix, vagina, and around the anus.
Multiple sexual partners, Tobacco and alcohol use, Stress and other viral infections are main reason of the Genital wart. Raised, flesh-colored lesions on the genitals, itching of the penis, scrotum, anal area, or a vulvar itch, Abnormal vaginal bleeding are some the symptoms of Genital wart. Cryosurgery, electrocauterization, laser therapy, or cutting them out are some of the surgical treatment for this disease.
- Hidradenitis suppurativa:
Hidradenitis suppurativa is also known as Acne Inversa. It affects areas like the underarms, groin and buttocks, and under the breasts in women. It starts as one or more red, tender, swellings in the groin or armpits. Changes in diet, warm compresses, baths, isotretinoin, radiotherapy, and anti-androgen therapy are some of the treatments for the Hidradenitis suppurativa.
- Hives:
Hives is also called as Urticaria. It is nothing but red bumps or patches called wheals on the skin. The bumps appear suddenly anywhere on the body. It can occur in deeper tissues of the eyes, mouth, hands or genitals. This disease is generally caused by direct contact with an allergenic substance and caused by stress.
- Hyperhidrosis:
Hyperhidrosis means excessive sweating which produces a lot of unhappiness. The sweating is very embarrassing and it stains clothes, ruins romance, and complicates business. It also create problem while driving a car or handshaking.
Surgery, Botulinum toxin type A, Iontophoresis, Aluminum chloride solution, Oral medication, Weight-Loss, Relaxation and meditation, Hypnosis are some of the treatments for the Hyperhidrosis.
- Ichthyosis:
Ichthyosis is a family of dermatological conditions. It is represented by thick, scaly skin. It is a form of dry skin and the affected areas looks like as fish scales. It affects the skin around the face, ears, scalp, neck, back, and the front of the arms and legs.
Some types of ichthyosis may include:
- Ichthyosis vulgaris
- X-linked ichthyosis
- Ichthyosis lamellaris
- Epidermolytic hyperkeratosis
- Netherton's syndrome
- Ichthyosis acquisita
- Harlequin type ichthyosis
- Sjogren-Larsson syndrome
- Impetigo:
Impetigo is one type of skin infection and normally present in children of age 2-6 years. Staphylococcus bacteria or streptococcus bacteria causes this disease. It looks like as a small scratch on the skin then a small red, itchy spot quickly develops into a blister containing a yellow substance.
- Jock itch:
Jock itch is also called as Crotch Itch, Bag Rot, tinea cruris or ringworm of the groin. Mostly fungi cause the Jock itch. Jock itch occurs almost in adult men. It can be contagious and passed from one person to the next by direct skin-to-skin contact. Itching, red, raised, scaly patches, abnormal dark or light skin are some of the symptoms of the Jock itch.
