  1. Miliaria:

    Miliaria is commonly called as Prickly heat. This type of disease occurs in increased heat and humidity. It is a skin disease marked by small and itchy rashes.
    Following are the types of Miliaria:

    • Miliaria crystallina
    • Miliaria rubra
    • Miliaria profunda
    For avoiding the Miliaria you can follow the following treatment methods:
    • Avoid heat and humidity.
    • Cool baths and air conditioning.
    • Wear loose cotton clothing.

  2. Molluscum contagiosum:

    It is wart-like tumor caused by the molluscum contagiosum virus or a DNA poxvirus. It appears as small, pearl-shaped spots with pink colour. It typically found in children. Molluscum are contagious and can be spread by direct physical contact. The surgical treatment for the Molluscum contagiosum includes cryosurgery.

  3. Nummular dermatitis:

    Nummular dermatitis is also called as discoid dermatitis. It is one form of dermatitis. It forms coin-shaped patches on the skin. This disease is associated with the dry skin, so winter is bad time. Lotions, creams, and bath oils are the best option for this disease. You have to avoid perfumes, make-ups, etc. because it may cause irritation or itching.

  4. Paget's disease of the nipple:

    It is also known as Paget's disease of the breast. It is generally associated with an underlying breast cancer. The symptoms of this disease may include:

    • Red scaly patches on the nipple and also on the dark area of skin around the nipple
    • Bleeding, crusting, from the affected area

    For diagnosis of this disease, mammogram and a biopsy are very important tests. Surgery is the best treatment option for this disease. But if you found cancer after surgery then Radiotherapy, Chemotherapy and Hormone therapy are the best options.

  5. Pediculosis:

    Pediculosis is an infestation of lice. Humans may be infested by three kinds of lice:

    • Pediculus capitis
    • Pediculus corporis
    • Phthirus pubis
    Itching is the most common symptom of lice infestation. The scratching of the infested areas can cause sores and then it may become infected. Lice on the hair and body can be treated by medicated shampoos or cream rinses. Nit combs is also used to remove lice and nits from the hair.

  6. Pemphigus:

    It is a autoimmune blistering disorder of the skin. Pemphigus occurs between the ages of 30 and 60. It is common in people from some Middle East countries like Israel and Iran.
    The types of Pemphigus disease are:

    • pemphigus vulgaris
    • pemphigus foliaceus
    • paraneoplastic pemphigus

    The diagonis of this disease can be done using three criterias like proper clinical presentation, lesion biopsy, direct immunoflourescence.

  7. Perioral dermatitis:

    Perioral dermatitis is related to acne vulgaris and consists of red superficial pustules around the mouth and chin and also the sides of the nose. It affects women between the ages of 20 and 45. Use of topical steroid creams and sprays are the main causes of perioral dermatitis. Itching, blisters, redness, swelling, and often oozing, scabbing, and scaling are some the symptoms of this disease.

  8. Photoallergy:

    Photoallergy is one form of allergic contact dermatitis. It produces an itching rash due to exposure to sunlight.

  9. Photosensitivity:

    Photosensitivityis also known as Sun Allergy. The people develop a rash because of sunlight. Internally taken medicines, contact with chemicals, genetic disorders are some of the symptoms of the photosensitivity.
    The most common types of photosensitivity are:

    • Polymorphous light eruption
    • Actinic prurigo
    • Photoallergic eruption
    • Solar urticaria

  10. Pityriasis rosea:

    This disease can occur at any age. It mostly occurs in teenagers and young adults. Pink and flaky oval-rash shaped, itcing, headache, fever and fatigue are some of the symptoms of the Pityriasis rosea. It is generally appear on the abdomen, back, neck, arms and legs.
