Overview of skin moles
Medically known as nevi, moles are skin growths, and are due to concentration of pigmented cells. It comes in different shapes, sizes, colors, and types. Colors can vary from light tan to black. They may appear as one or a few, or they may be scattered over the body. Mole can come into existence at any age from early childhood to later on throughout your life. Although not all melanomas develop from previously existing moles, many begin in or near a mole or other dark spot on the skin.

Some moles are unattractive while some are attractive. A mole on your nose tip definitely considered detracting from beauty, while a small mole near the lips might appear quite attractive.

Keep in mind that other skin growths like papillomas, seed warts, regular warts, and keratoses are different from moles.
